I am a first generation professional photographer and self proclaimed family historian. I love capturing families from year to year. I especially love photographing multiple generations and creating heirlooms in portrait form to be passed down from generation to generation.

I cannot imagine a moment growing up without a camera being there. If my mom wasn’t taking the pictures, one of my aunts were. I have boxes of pictures, snapshots and professional portraits, to show off my childhood. Looking back I can see where I came from. I knew not only my grandmother on each side, but 3 of my great grandparents, and a great-great grandmother on my maternal side. I have a portrait of these 5 generations to show me the strong women that are a part of who I am, my legacy.

I have my grandparents’ prom portrait and the stories from my grandmother about that night. Pictures upon pictures that tell a story of each family member and how they became a part of my legacy story. I have my history, legacy in pictures and stories to go with them. I know where I come from so I know where I am going, I can better help you tell your story and build your legacy because I know mine. I truly long to capture the moments for you.
